Western Canada's Largest Fall RV Show Raises Big Money |
|
RVing nothing beats the feel of the open road and the love of being able to be at home wherever you go. And part of the fun of RVing is checking out what other rigs are out there and the latest gadgets and features available. For novice to experienced RVers, the best place in Western Canada this season to see everything the RV world has to offer is the Snowbird RV Show in Abbotsford, BC.
What you may not know is that for three years now this show has invited current and prospective RVers to an event that not only showcases the newest and hottest RVs, but also raises funds for two worthy causes.
Since 1999 it has raised $32,000, which then has been donated to Red Cross and World Vision.
"We wanted to put together a show that satisfied peoples RV needs but also did something good for the big picture, " says show manager Lynn Thompson. "For example much of the money donated to the Red Cross last year went to help with the September 11th disaster relief fund," says Thompson.
The Snowbird RV Show, which is being held this year on September 26th to 29th at Tradex in Abbotsford BC, is a combined effort by some of Canadas largest RV dealers.
"This is really a one stop shop for learning and purchasing RVs," says Thompson. "We have experts on hand and a lot of great information on RVing across North America."
Admission to the 2002 September Snowbird RV Show is FREE
