Shearwater Marine Resort adds an area for RVs |
|
Take a cruise with your RV and enjoy the central coast hospitality! RVers are invited to come on board BC Ferries Discovery Coast Route to Shearwater this summer.
Shearwater Marine Resort, in business for the past 50 years, has recently completed an area for RVs for the 2002 summer season. Bring your boat (moorage available), book a rental or arrange for a guided fishing package. You can fish from dawn to dusk for all five species of salmon, as well as halibut, ling cod and snapper!
If fishing isnt your thing, there are eco tours, hot springs, wildlife viewing, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing available.
Reaching Shearwater is half the fun! Try the "Circle Route" leaving Port Hardy via BC Ferries through the calm, protected central coast waters, the return home through Bella Coola. You wont see the same thing twice!
The new RV area is treed and the sites have picnic tables and firepits. At this time, it is dry-camping only, with power and water planned for the 2003 season.
